Describe the bug

The upgrade to v. 26 got stuck at 'Reloading firmware' for 6 min. After the box was power-cycled it reverted to 25.7.11-9

Tip: to validate your setup was working with the previous version, use opnsense-revert (https://docs.opnsense.org/manual/opnsense_tools.html#opnsense-revert)

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to System/Firmware/Status
2. Click on 'Check for updates'
3. Get notice about 25 EOL.
4. Click on 'Upgrade'
5. Wait for the upgrade to complete.
6. Check the console and see that after all of the upgrades the system is stuck at 'Reloading firmware'

Expected behavior

The upgrade should have been completely installed and the system should have rebooted into v.26

Could be related to microcode packages but nothing concrete from the output here (other than N100 indicating that microcode was installed). Also see https://forum.opnsense.org/index.php?topic=50775.0
