We have Slack set up and that works best for smaller, private groups (imo based on all the scamming bots roaming out there) and we can continue to use this and open it up like other projects have. I have also seen some projects migrate to Discord, Rocket, and Telegram or a combination of these.

We should decide how we want to handle communication and we should vote/collaborate on how we voice this message:

I was researching rocket.chat a bit more and see that they are still in Beta and are planning on coming out of it soon. While they are in Beta they are offering their cloud hosting service for free, here is the link: https://rocket.chat/cloud/

Here are two key statements related to us:

• We are close to bringing Rocket.Chat Cloud out of beta, while in beta Rocket.Chat cloud is completely free.
