OLED Displays Noise Only When Battery Powered

I believe this is a hardware issue, but thought I'd post it here too just in case.

I think this got solved in the referenced link to the Arduino forum.

It did. Sorry, I had forgotten I had posted it here too.

For others finding this later, the solution to this was simply to use the 3.3V pin to power the SH1106 OLED instead of the 5V.

I guess answers are more faster in Arduino form. I currently don't have much time to check u8g2 issues and discussions :-(
