Quickinstall screen freezes on Acer aspire e 15

• I have searched the issue tracker and was unable to find an open or closed issue matching what I'm seeing.
• (If the issue occurs AFTER or DURING Windows 9x's hardware detection phase) I have tried to install with Skip legacy non-PnP hardware detection phase to [OFF] and the issue still occurs.
• (If the issue occurs AFTER or DURING Windows 9x's hardware detection phase) I have tried to install with the integrated driver library set to [OFF] and the issue still occurs.
• I understand that support is provided voluntarily for free, and that the author is not Microsoft and can/will probably not fix bugs in the operating system code itself. I also understand that it is impossible to support every single hardware combination out there.

What happened?

I was trying to boot the usb iso of quickinstall but after clicking boot windows 9x quickinstall it just shows what the image says and does nothing afterwards

I haven't been able to reach setup yet,only the welcome screen when you boot the usb, not even the credits pages thing and then the image is the result of booting into quickinstall

I am having the same issue on a Toshiba NB505 netbook, where it locks up after listing the PCI devices. Booting from USB, Intel Atom N455 with 1GB of DDR2.

im thinking of trying cd booting but im not sure thats a fix

i would test it on my laptop but it doesn't have a cd drive at all

I'm planning on using a different device entirely once 1.02 with the himem.sys patch comes out.
