Parentheses around inline math

A very minor issue. When there are parentheses around inline math expressions, should the parentheses be marked up as part of the expression or not? Example:

If the parentheses are marked up as part of the math, they will be read by the TTS. If not, they will not be announced. I don't think it matters which, but it should be consistent. As of now, the vendors are inconsistent about this which might cause confusion.

Maybe of consistency it would make most sense for the user to hear the parentheses even if they are not strictly part of the math. In some cases they could be.

This would also be easier of the supplier:
"If there is only math content inside parentheses, or other bracketing characters, mark them up as part of the <math> element."

Then we need to change the the first paragraph in the section "When to use MathML". Now, we have written:

"If a mathematical expression is part of a sentence, make sure only to mark up the mathematics with MathML. For example, in the sentence, “the price for three pairs of jeans was 90 euros (30 € × 3), and he paid for them in cash”, the mathematical expression is extra information, expressed by the parentheses. In this case the parentheses is not part of the mathematical expression and should therefore not be marked up with MathML. Only the mathematical expression inside the parentheses should be in MathML."

Oops! I did not realise we had already addressed this. Regardless of whether we want to change it or not, it would be good if the Kvalidator could check for the consistensy of this. For example, if there are parentheses immediately surrounding inline math.

I think that the parentheses should not be part of the math, cause they are not math.

I have had books with paragraphs where many variables are introduced. It's kind of annoying to hear "open paren" "close paren" every time a variable is mentioned.

Solution: Always include parentheses in the mathML. Rewrite first paragraph "When To Use MathML".
