🐞 Description
El Capitan Installation Fails, and this installer may be lost to humanity if no one fixes it.
When I create the bootable installer for OS X Capitan 11.6 and run it,
I get an error message saying:
OS X could not be installed on your computer
An error occurred while extracting files from the package "Essentials.pkg".
Quit the installer to restart your computer and try again.
I thought there might be something wrong with the flash drive, but I used a USB SSD drive as the installer, and I got the same exact message. So there is something wrong with the package.
✅ Expected Behaviour
The installation should be completing, but never does.
macOS Version
macOS Sequoia 15
Mist Version
- Yes, I am using the latest version of Mist.
