Suggestions

The quality of Roadmaps has been devolving lately, this roadmap is a disappointment.

Why is it that the cybersecurity roadmap has more networking knowledge and practice than the roadmap specifically designed for network engineering.

Compare the frontend roadmap and this roadmap. Look at how detailed that roadmap is compared to this one.

No mention Cisco Packet Tracer, GNS3, EVE-NG.

No link to linux roadmap even tho it's like half of the job.

No troubleshooting methodology.

No automation (Ansible, Python, IaC, APIs)

Missing a ton of crucial concepts like:

NAT/PAT
ACLs
VRFs
VXLAN
SD-WAN
MPLS-VPN
GRE/IPSec tunnels
High Availability protocols:

  • HSRP
  • VRRP
  • GLBP

And the actual steps for learning each is also ... bad. Why is DNS concepts after routing and switching?

Anyways... a lot of improvements can be done on that roadmap. Currently, it's not enough to pass CCNA, much less holding up to its name.
