Steps to reproduce

1. winget upgrade --id=Nextcloud.Talk

I tried uninstall using winget, install again and wait for a next version for new attempt.
Window 10 pro 22h2 19045.6456
Nextcloud v2.0.3 v2.0.4 and v2.0.5

Expected behaviour

A newer version was found, but the install technology is different from the current version installed. Please uninstall the package and install the newer version.

A newer version was found, but the install technology is different from the current version installed. Please uninstall the package and install the newer version.

This is, unfortunately, a known winget bug...

The only solution seems to use a single installer in the package.

So, either we provide 4 packages Nextcloud.Talk.Exe + Nextcloud.Talk.MSI + Nextcloud.Talk.*, or we keep only a single installer on winget.

I'd prefer to go with the second option, but this is only acceptable on a major release.

Update: we'll introduce the new installer using Microsoft recommendations to replace existing two. Then it should work fine with the winget.
