The built-in spell checker cannot be disabled. This causes unwanted visual noise (red underlines).

Describe the solution you'd like
Add a setting to disable the spell checker entirely or per input field.

Describe alternatives you've considered
Live with it. 😆 But some people don't use / don't like spell checkers. I am one of them.

The idea was briefly mentioned here, although the issue has a different goal.

Is the problem that it needs to be in another language?
Otherwise red underlines seem correct and can be removed by fixing mistakes 🤔

I have this as well. I speak English most of the time, also my Nextcloud is English. But some colleagues message in German and want German answers

I just don't like/use spell checkers. Hence I prefer an option to simply disable spell checking. 😊
