After receiving some feedback, there seems to be some demand to enable GPU in Codespaces for https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui. The immediate benefit is faster inference time for image generation most likely.
I'm opening this issue to look into https://docs.github.com/en/codespaces/developing-in-codespaces/getting-started-with-github-codespaces-for-machine-learning and come back with a plan on how to enable GPU in Codespaces for AUTOMATIC1111's repo (https://github.com/AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui). That way, I can at least update this guide for people who want to use GPU.
