Would you consider a PR to remove the (runtime) dependency on git-version-bump?
I see (from the network graph) that others have felt the same way about minimising the number of added dependencies (e.g. #2 (comment)), but nobody has submitted a PR. Do you feel strongly about its use, or would you be happy to simply encode the version in the gemspec?
