Using pdfio concurrently

Is it expected behavior that you cannot use pdfio concurrently from two threads?

I can surely provide more context and the code I am executing, but if the answer to the above question is 'yes' than it's probably not needed.

There is nothing to prevent usage of PDFio from multiple threads. That said, using the same pdfio_file_t pointer (or other objects) from two different threads requires the (separate) use of mutex/rwlock primitives to control access to it.

Ok, that sounds great. Then I probably misuse the library somehow. I will investigate.

I stored the pdfio_file_t pointer in a global variable which every thread would use and overwrite. I fixed it and it works like a charm.
