Is it possible to make wda ipa with free apple id?

I'm trying to take the wda.ipa from this repo and sign it with my Apple ID via Sideloadly. After installing it on my iPhone and trusting the developer in Settings, the app opens and closes immediately when I start it. There is no 'Automation Running' text on the screen.
When I try to 'Open Device' in Appium Wizard with use pre-installed custom WDA, it does the same thing: it tries to open WDA, but it crashes. However, if I use a developer account with a .p12 certificate and a provisioning profile, it works fine.

My goal is use free developer account and sideloadly for auto-update app every 7 days.

@Demontut I've tried same with Sideloadly. Yes it crashes. Then I checked with chatgpt and understood that:

Apple enforces this at the OS level.. When WDA launches, iOS verifies:

• Code signature
• Entitlements
• XCTest / automation permissions
• Developer trust chain

If any required entitlement is missing →
➡️ the process is killed immediately by the system

WDA is not a normal app — it’s a test runner that requires full developer signing.
Re-signing the IPA with a free Apple ID will install but crash immediately.
