Failure of table insertion

I’m trying to use your Add-in to insert a table into a .Rmd document in RStudio.

Nothing happened when I clicked “Done.”

it has been a while since I worked on this, but I seem to remember that the insertion only works within code chunks. Could you try to see if you can get the expected behavious when trying to insert within a r chunk?

Oh, I see. (My knowledge of r, etc. is rudimentary).

How do I do this with text in the cells rather than just numerical digits? That doesn't work for me.

Or, do I have to create such tables "manually" using, for example, this guidance ? : KableExtra Tutorial

Even though I use it in code chunk, it doesn't add anything.

Has there been any progress in resolving this bug? Adding tables doesn't work for me either; the add-in hangs with 'Listening on http://127.0.0.1:6538' :(
