How can I build static library?

is there any way to build a static library (libjose.a)?

Right now, we have no way to generate a static library (as it is not defined in meson).

I made libjose.a (using $176)
There is some problem.

jose_jws_sig(NULL, jws, NULL, jwk) <-- this function is failed with below logs
../lib/jws.c:50:JOSE_CFG_ERR_ALG_NOINFER:Unable to infer signing algorithm

but when I use libjose.so,
jose_jws_sig() function works well.

To fix this, you must instruct the linker to include the entire content of the libjose.a static library, not just the parts it thinks it needs. This is done with a specific linker flag.

You need to modify your project's build file to wrap the linking of libjose.a with the --whole-archive flag.

From:

LDFLAGS = -ljose

To something like:

LDFLAGS = -Wl,--whole-archive -ljose -Wl,--no-whole-archive
