Does this plugin work with Opencode Windows Desktop App (I am on 1.15.4 desktop windows app) - i use Big Pickel Model

I tried install but memory recall may not be working

Could you please share the plugin logs under:

${TMPDIR:-/tmp}/opencode-memory-logs/

The most relevant files should be extract-*.log and, if auto-dream was involved, dream-*.log.

You can find the latest ones with:

find "${TMPDIR:-/tmp}/opencode-memory-logs" -type f -name '*.log' | sort | tail -10

since i am on windows and desktop app, i think it will not work as is, or will it??

Critical insight: This plugin uses a shell hook approach — it wraps the opencode command in a shell function.

For the Windows Desktop App (OpenCode Desktop), the shell hook approach may not work correctly because:

The Desktop App doesn't go through a shell — it launches the binary directly
The opencode-memory install command modifies .zshrc/.bashrc to create a shell function — which only works for CLI usage
On Windows Desktop App, the plugin would run but the wrapper/maintenance scripts wouldn't trigger

Yes, your understanding is correct.

The OpenCode plugin only works if the Desktop App loads it from opencode.json.

The opencode-memory wrapper is separate. It depends on the CLI/shell hook flow, so the Windows Desktop App will not trigger post-session extraction or auto-dream unless it launches opencode through the wrapper.
