One counter argument to this is that sometimes the +1s etc help to gauge the impact of a bug. Are 100 users experiencing it or just 1? But I agree comments with +1 are annoying. I like the trend on github to just add the 👍 reaction to comments to agree, so it doesn't clutter up a thread but shows the scale of the issue we are dealing with.
