[Prasad Patil](http://www.biostat.jhsph.edu/~prpatil/) is a Ph.D. student in Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. He created [healthvis](http://healthvis.wordpress.com/) and is creating cross-platform, cheap genomic signatures for cancer, lupus, and other diseases.
[Claire Ruberman](http://www.biostat.jhsph.edu/people/student/ruberman.shtml) is a Ph.D. student in Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health working with Jeff Leek and Michael Rosenblum. She is developing methods for removing confounding artifacts when inferring graphical models.
[Jack Fu](http://jfubiostats.com/) is a Ph.D. student in Biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health working with Jeff Leek, Ingo Rucsinski, and Rob Scharpf. He is working on developing methods for quantifying uncertainty about transcriptomes assembled from short read data.
Abhi Nellore is a postdoc in Biostatistics and Computer Science. He is co-advised with Ben Langmead and is developing tools for scalable RNA-seq analysis.
[Jeff Leek](http://jtleek.github.io/) is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics and Oncology at the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. His research focuses on the intersection of high dimensional data analysis, genomics, and public health. He is the co-editor of the [Simply Statistics Blog](http://simplystatistics.org/) and co-director of the [Johns Hopkins Specialization in Data Science](https://www.coursera.org/specialization/jhudatascience/1).
