podkit Roadmap

I started building podkit because syncing music to an iPod in 2026 was unreasonably painful. Nothing out there solved the problem properly, so I'm building the tool I wish existed. You can read the full story on the About page.

The goal is for podkit to become the go-to project for syncing music to iPod devices, and a core library that other developers can build on. I can't get there alone. Your voice genuinely shapes what gets built and how it works.

Even if your thought is just "I'd use this for..." or "I wish I could..." that's incredibly valuable. Every use case helps me understand how a feature should actually behave, not just whether it should exist.

• Linux mount and eject commands — Native mount and eject commands for Linux (Debian, Ubuntu, Alpine, and more)
