Font weight consistency on diacritics

I was using this font for handwritten-looking diagrams for my courses in French, when I realized the accented characters were standing out like boring type... XKCD or OCD?

Also addressed in #59 and a few subsequent PRs.

I still see a few issues with the font above - there are font weight issues, for example in the weight of the circumflex.

The circumflex being thin may be due to a mistake in the process that thins the glyph on line 11 of handwriting_minimal.png, or from another perspective, there may be an issue with the interpretation of line 11.

Regarding the diacritic-marked vowels on line 11, it is unclear without asking whether it means 'I want the uppercase letter and diacritic written in this proportion' (providing the stroke) or 'I want this thickness of diacritic to be used' (providing the outline).
That said, I don't think there is any basis for the interrobang on the same line to be a glyph that doesn't fit into the current ascent at all.
