Add PathCollisionShape

If this is possible, it would be useful.
Collisions generation along the path and will instance Primitive shapes . I have a similar hack function, but I don't really like it.
For example:

I like the idea for tiling primitive collision shapes.

There are a couple alternatives you can use. If you enable the PathMesh3D plugin you can generate collision shapes from PathMesh3D or PathExtrude3D. You can also make a small collision shape scene and tile it using PathScene3D.

I thought about it.
The problem is that I need to generate collisions every frame while the user is dragging the mouse. This greatly affects performance. This is noticeable in the fps in the video. I specifically increased the size of the shapes so that they are visible. It seems to me that your proposal will not change the situation much in terms of performance

I see. I would try the scene instances first just to see if it works.

Hey you should check out the latest release 1.4. It has PathArea3D and PathStaticBody3D to place simple collision geometry along a path.

Look at this, please. Path3d(2points arc), PathMesh3d, PathArea3d has one position, but oh this doesn't fit

Hmm yeah that is a limitation for shapes. I think I can add a curve start offset and end offset for all the nodes so they can determine where to start/stop.
