I'm trying to learn how to use BS-SNPer for a project I'm working on that used BisSNP. Unfortunately, since BisSNP is not working for me, I am trying to use BS-Snper and I wanted to access the bam evaluation file at the ftp provided (ftp://public.genomics.org.cn/BGI/BS-SNPer/example/) but the connection keeps timing out on me.
I'm using Unix and trying to connect using wget - which I don't know if it is the best method. This is what I'm getting:
--2021-11-17 15:28:59-- ftp://public.genomics.org.cn/BGI/BS-SNPer/example/
=> ‘.listing’
Resolving public.genomics.org.cn (public.genomics.org.cn)... 120.234.31.9
Connecting to public.genomics.org.cn (public.genomics.org.cn)|120.234.31.9|:21... failed: Connection timed out.
Retrying.
Can anyone help me sort this out?
