Cant run make install

I am trying to run make install following the tutorial but it seems lie there are no tags so the installation fails. I made sure the clone was correct, but I also noticed I dont see any tags when I just check on github on the main repo. I have added some screenshots of the issue. Am I just missing something here?

The make install runs even without the tags. I was trying to install today and had problems with the docker-compose. It's probably something related to it.
My problem was not the same as yours, but here's what I've done:

• Install docker-compose-v2
• Change commands from docker-compose to docker compose in makefile
• Insert user into docker allowed users group
