The application has a problem with correctly detecting the primary monitor when two displays are connected.

I have a second monitor connected to my laptop. When I launch the application, it opens on the second screen instead of the primary one.

There is also an issue after hibernation and disconnecting the second monitor. If I open the minimized application and call the Search window (Shift+Ctrl+F), nothing appears on the laptop screen. I have to either close and restart the application, or reconnect the second monitor, where the Search window will be displayed.

I can confirm these issues, and I think they may be symptoms of a larger issue of CherryTree not properly handling multiple monitors (especially if they have different DPI).

My workaround was to write a script that enables/disables various monitors and then moves the CherryTree window to the correct position on the desired monitor. One of the challenges in writing that script was that CherryTree has different anomalous behaviours depending on whether it is open, minimized to the taskbar, minimized to the system tray, maximized, or closed. Also, the lack of CherryTree CLI options that control its state and window position made that task especially challenging.

I'm hopeful the issues can be solved directly in CherryTree so such workarounds are no longer needed.
