ForcePseudoFullScreen?

Component now accepts prop isPseudoFullscreen that will immediately enter into pseudoFullscreen when passed as true. This cannot work with native fullscreen since that requires a user-generated event in order for the request to be fulfilled by the browser.

forcePseudoFullscreen will also be passed down if it was passed into the enhanced component.

I would like to force PseudoFullScreen despite Native FullScreen being supported. There's mention of a forcePseudoFullscreen prop, but I'm not entirely sure how to pass it down. Could you provide an example?

Ah yes! You pass forcePseudoFullscreen as a boolean prop to the component that you have enhanced. So an example is:

const FullscreenableDemoComponent = Fullscreenable()(DemoComponent);

<FullscreenableDemoComponent forcePseudoFullscreen />

Now when calling toggleFullscreen the component will instead use styling to position itself fixed in the browser window.

Using isPseudoFullscreen is most suitable for when you want to have a button or some other UI cause a component to become fullscreen immediately upon mounting. For example:

// Some component's render() method. 
render() {
   return <FullscreenableDemoComponent isPseudoFullscreen forcePseudoFullscreen />;
}
