I have some hesitation in reporting this, since I'm nowhere near an expert on fonts. This screenshot I provided is from my machine which is running Linux, and the font used is Deja Vu Sans. I see the same behavior in Firefox and Chrome. I don't see the clipping on my iphone in mobile safari.
