Add new ways to login into the website

Greetings.
As I don't want to use Discord and create an account on this platform, there is currently no way for me to login on the website.
Why not support auth from Github or just standalone accounts?

The problem is that the login system wasn't designed with this in mind from the start, it's limited to only one type of auth. It could be possible to have standalone accounts but I don't feel like messing with that. I would need to completely re-implement the login system to be able to have more auths. It's on the list but I don't for see it anytime soon

Then, why not add auth via Github since it's basically oauth?

I'd also love to be able to login in different ways. Mostly, a standalone account.

Discord is not reliable. I can't even get in through it.
