How do I enable sensitive messages?

Good evening,

For some reason sensitive messages are censored in your app even though I deactivated that on the official app and haven't found anything to turn that off. Is there even a way to turn that off?

I'm on Android 16 with One UI 8.0 and am using the Play Store version. Should I switch to the F-Droid version or is there any other way to turn off hiding sensitive messages?

Do you have some screenshots for me? What do you mean by sensitive messages?
In general I just show what Twitch sends me, but I can take a look if you can give me some mor conext and detail.

By sensitive messages I mean messages that appear as stars. You can turn that off on Twitch but you can't turn that off in Dankchat no matter which version you use if you use the F-Droid or Play Store version. Unfortunately I forgot to take a screenshot when I saw this the last time. Instead of sensitive words like asshole for example you'll see * instead of the word

Hm, I just show what Twitch sends me, so this might be a setting that is handled in the website. If that is the case I can't really add this feature. Adding a filter that catches such messages myself is unfortunately out of scope for me

Then it's a bug of Dankchat since I already disabled it in the Twitch app as you can see in the screenshot below
