Can the search function be directly added to the top right corner?

Can the search function be directly added to the top right corner? Currently, users need to press a shortcut key or click the three lines in the top right corner and then select "Search", which involves an extra step. Additionally, can the results of the search be directly clicked to open, rather than having to click to locate where it is.

Hello,
There is definitely plan to have a "customizable toolbar" where one could put a "Search" icon.
There have been also an idea to have a "Search dial" - similar to existing (or extended existing) that would also search.

I'll try the toolbar idea first and hopefully soon.
