This app supports Android 4.0 (API 14), but Material Design 3 requires at least Android 5.0+.
So using the theme will drop support for older systems (although Google does want to do so).

I won't mind raising material design I guess, but not sure what benefit are you after. On the other hand, I'm behind on other work and there are still things I would rather work on first, like adding scrollbar...
