Document the history/motivation for splitting this off from MathJs #68

I'm trying to figure out which package to use, and without context it's hard to do so...
It would also be great to know if they're in any way compatible? Is one faster? Easier? More feature-rich? Will they ever fall out of sync?
Apologies if this is written down somewhere, I could only find a small acknowledgement in the Acknowledgements
