Biometrics device gives identify-retry-scan many time

Hi all
I'm using a digital persona device but many times identify service return identify-retry-scan results automatically we do not understand why it is happening.
please help me.

I did not understood your last sentence, but if you searched for a version which can be used with nodejs v12, please have a look at the branch nodev12.

I can't test anything, because I do not own any working fingerprint sensor anymore!
However, the code compiles with nodejs v12.18.2 and didn't need much changes.
One thing, fp_set_debug was deprecated so I removed setDebug method completly.
If you need debug output, head over to libfprint and have a look what they did regarding fp_set_debug.
