ERROR: execution aborted

After the attribute error, I only get ERROR: execution aborted and have to restart the console to get it working again:

I can confirm that this is probably an upstream bug in ipykernel, using the master version of ipykernel fixed the issue on my machine:

pip install --user --upgrade git+https://github.com/ipython/ipykernel.git
