Paging for long docstrings?

Is there a way to use a pager when viewing help for the QGIS classes? Not enough scrollback lines...
(I'm testing under QGIS 2.99 master)

Sorry, not that I'm aware of, that is annoying me too.
Beside that, with QGIS3 we've lost the signatures and the overrides on exceptions, it's a huge step backwards but apparently there is nothing we can do about it.

Seems the best you can do is increase the number of scrollback lines:

• go to .ipython directory in your home directory

• edit profile_default/ipython_config.py

• add c.IPythonWidget.buffer_size=1500 (or whatever # you want) to the end of the file

If the directory or config file doesn't exist, create using: ipython profile create

Although it doesn't seem to work :)

there might be a way to do that programmatically, unfortunately I've not time to dig into this now
