I think CachedResolver is kind of a weird name. It sounds like the resolver is cached vs. what I'm guessing it actually is ... which is a resolver that has a cache for whatever it is that it resolves. It's not clear why we didn't just name it DidResolver and the fact that it has a cache is just a feature of it. Can we do that in a newer version?
