Thank you very much for sharing this code repo.
I have installed scipy verion 1.2.1 as per the readme and got the error
AttributeError: module 'scipy.misc' has no attribute 'imread'
looks like this version of script doesn't have the imread method
my scipy installed version is: 1.2.1 build: py36h7c811a0_0
