What makes us, us</h2>
<p> Sworn enemies of the shifting paradigm, PencilBox exists to return
thinking to inside the box, where it belongs. We are dedicated to
openness, candor and clarity in corporate communications, and we
revere your audience, keeping their values, attitudes and interests
uppermost in our minds.</p>
<p> We do what it takes reach that audience; we don't confine ourselves to
one medium. Sock puppets, blimps, brochures, ads, websites, booths and
bobble head dolls are only a few of our areas of expertise. Focusing on
the message and the audience lets us craft materials that work, be they
for big companies like The Coca–Cola Company and General Motors or
non-profits like the Hispanic Heritage Foundation.</p>
<p> Our inclinations and experience have caused us to focus on
environmental communications. Responsible environmental actions are
within the capabilities of business leaders. By helping companies tell
an accurate and compelling story about these actions we hope to not only
help these companies get the word out, but to start conversations about
what we all should be doing.</p>

<p> PencilBox is a collection of like‐minded individuals focused on
delivering outstanding work for our clients. From senior management
road shows to intranets and employee communications, national ad
campaigns to Web sites, we've pretty much done it all. We've gathered
at PencilBox because of some commonly held beliefs. While we're
agnostic about the medium through which our work is delivered, we're
fanatically devoted to the principles of openness, candor and clarity
in corporate communication. What that translates into is the creation
of corporate communication materials that work. We develop
communication strategies and executions across a wide variety of media
for big companies like The Coca‐Cola Company and General Motors, and
