The galactic repo, as it exists, supports the galactic codebase and a containerlab-based lab topology, and the galactic codebase comes with a supporting dev container. This works fine for development and testing on amd64 systems. galactic development also works fine on arm64 systems (most notably macOS), but containerlab does not.
This should be resolved by adding a second dev container for the lab portion of the repo.
