What do you think about my Ibbtown theme?

There used to be a "What's New" section here. Is it gone now? If this post is not wanted, please delete it.

I developed the Ibbtown theme to have a basic theme for developing further themes. It is intended to be a starting point. My target was not to keep the source code as small as possible. I wanted to create a theme that is as easy to understand as possible, can be easily modified, and contains programming solutions/examples for the most common problems.

Good work. I suggest to add the topic datenstrom-yellow to your repository and have a look at the self-review checklist. The checklist is not required for experimental extensions with Status: experimental, but maybe you find some suggestions on the checklist useful. Oh, thanks! To do that, I'd first need to understand what the items on the checklist mean. 😬

For experimental extensions.... I think the first two items on the self-review checklist mean:

1. You checked that everything works as expected in a brand new installation.
   Make sure your own software can be installed easily and works well.
2. You checked that your repository has the topic datenstrom-yellow.
   Make sure your own software is discoverable, e.g. on Codeberg or GitHub.

The remaining items, well, have a look what you find useful. I believe there is something we all have in common. That we don't want to ponder over the same decisions again and again. Should I name files like that, should I format code like that, should I write documentation like that? With some luck you like some of the things that were written down. Or write down your own checklist to fit your way of working.

I'll work through the »Yellow-Publish« documentation and try to implement them one by one.
