For experimental extensions.... I think the first two items on the self-review checklist mean:
The remaining items, well, have a look what you find useful. I believe there is something we all have in common. That we don't want to ponder over the same decisions again and again. Should I name files like that, should I format code like that, should I write documentation like that? With some luck you like some of the things that were written down. Or write down your own checklist to fit your way of working. |

I developed the Ibbtown theme to have a basic theme for developing further themes. It is intended to be a starting point. My target was not to keep the source code as small as possible. I wanted to create a theme that is as easy to understand as possible, can be easily modified, and contains programming solutions/examples for the most common problems.
