I am a software engineer and data analyst with a strong focus on building end-to-end data systems, from collection through to visualisation.
I have experience creating live data dashboards using Node-RED and related technologies, enabling real-time monitoring and decision-making. I develop data collection solutions using Raspberry Pi and microcontrollers such as the Pico, working with both MicroPython and CircuitPython.
I am capable of transmitting data over the internet, including via 4G LTE networks, allowing for flexible and remote deployments. I have extensive experience working with both private and public MQTT brokers, enabling me to design and implement scalable data hubs that aggregate information from multiple sources into a single, unified dashboard.
In addition, I process and structure live data to ensure it remains clean, consistent, and suitable for long-term use. I can store this data in a variety of formats, including CSV files and SQL databases, depending on project requirements.
