Possible fix for PHP 8.2 extension issue

I'm happy to see you're still working on this project! It's great.

I've been testing it on PHP 7.4 and PHP 8.2. Everything runs perfectly, but I've encountered an issue with activating extensions on PHP 8.2. It only shows a "500 Internal Server Error" without a more specific message.

I managed to fix this issue on my local environment. I'll set up a fresh local version of the project to properly replicate and debug the error. Once I've found a solid solution, I'll prepare a pull request with the fix, if that is welcome.
