I use Android 16 with the display size and font size in the accessibility settings set to the highest. I also use Commet with the font size scaling set to be higher than the default. But since things are large this means that the "Jump to latest" button is somewhat large too and when I am scrolling through msgs it often gets in the way of reading which impacts the experience and usability.
It would be helpful if this could be disabled through a toggle or maybe changed in some way so that it is less intrusive such as how some apps use a small circular button off to the lower right hand side for example.
Or maybe even an option to toggle it off, keep it the same way for people who want it the way it currently is or use a small button off to the side like many apps do.
Providing all 3 options may work best for the largest amount of people but if that is too difficult perhaps changing it in some way could help.
For example Discord has a small circular button in the lower right hand side with a down arrow. But the issue I could see here is that Commet provides many more customization options for people in terms of scaling. So if someone is in a situation like me where they need the largest font size and the largest display size in the android accessibility settings and they also need to set various scaling options with the App scaling and Font scaling options you offer in the app, perhaps the button could become too large.
But it would be really helpful if some type of change was done to improve this.
