Jointer-Planer broker handle

The left handle for the Meister-Planer just broke easely while closing (do not over-tighten).

I guess this is a common isue, what is the best way to fix it? How can i help?

I managed to remove the fragment and restored function, but not comfort:

The printed part on the other handle is not listed under https://github.com/comakingspace/Parts/tree/main/Felder_Hammer_A3-31_Abricht-Dickernhobel so I guess we have to re-invent it.

Someone printed a simple cylinder to prettify the screw.
