[Tracking] Brand logo visibility in HACS / HA during brands-proxy transition

Summary

ChoreOps brand logos/icons may not appear consistently in HACS and/or integration surfaces depending on Home Assistant + HACS frontend state during the brands-proxy transition.

This is primarily a timing/rollout mismatch, not a missing asset in this repo.

Context

We are in the transition window where:

• Home Assistant moved custom integration brand images to local brand assets and local API routing.
• HACS behavior/docs/validation/frontend updates have been catching up.

In practice, this can look like ChoreOps being "caught in the middle" even when brand files are present.

• ChoreOps ships brand assets in the expected location.
• This issue is a pinned status/update thread for users encountering display inconsistencies during this ecosystem transition.

Temporary guidance

1. Ensure Home Assistant version is 2026.3+.
2. Hard-refresh browser cache and restart HA.
3. Refresh HACS repository data.
4. If still inconsistent, monitor linked upstream HACS + HA references above.

Tracking / close criteria

Close this issue when branding behavior is consistently correct for ChoreOps across expected HACS + HA surfaces without workaround steps.

updating to the newest version of HA has now fixed this and I see the logo.

Yes, I see that is working now too. The unfortunate part is that this won't work in HACS correctly until they do a new release and their last release was over a year ago, so I'm not holding my breath. One missing icon isn't the end of the world, but pretty annoying it's the first thing people see when they go to look this up. If I had started 2 weeks earlier, I probably would have made the cutoff to submit, but there wasn't a way for me to know that.
