CPU jumps and remains at 99.9% when editing in a forum like https://www.os2.org. Reproducible here: open forum, pick any message and "answer", the MLE field opens, type in or not. No Addons installed.
The suggestion to other issues to modify "layout.frame_rate" from default=0 (sic!) to x000 does not help & even worse: would need to remove profile data to restart (x=8 e.g.).
Tried an opposite workaround: set "layout.frame_rate" to -1, (= default in all my other FF versions): CPU usage drops to minimal. Remainig problem left: Keyboard becomes less responsive (typed character inputs appear slightly delayed ).
Screenshots "before"/"after" attached (just explanatory "answers", not really sent in the forum).
