Many bird species have distinct male and female calls, which can be useful to distinguish for e.g. conservation work. Is there any effort for building models that can recognise calls from male and female individuals? I am specifically interested in owls. I just gathered 1800 recordings with confidence > 0.8 which is a lot to check manually.
