ecs compose and --enable-execute-command

How can I enable the execute command flag for ECS tasks when using Docker Compose and ECS Params?

When using ECS compose commands I would like to run tasks and perform the exec commands on the task containers.

I see there is a PR for this now (#1135 - yay!). Does anyone know of a workaround until the PR is merged ?

Do you know if this issue will be solved in time? I have been running a stupid workaround for a long time and would like to get rid of it.
