[Bug]: "Specify logfile" for (sub-)pipeline is working inconsistently

What happened?

I am trying to write the logging of a pipeline within a workflow to a different log-file (within java.io.tmpdir),
but this is not working consistently.
Sometimes, the log gets written to the different file as supposed to,
but sometimes the different file is created, but is empty, and all the logging-content is written to the main log-file.
