The layout reserves a certain height for the histogram (so that you can still observe details). If that does not leave enough vertical space for all the other elements, they are "reduced": the height of the board is reduced (which also reduces its width since it is quadratic) and the second row of candidate moves is left out.

From your screenshot it seems that I can lower the minimum height of the histogram a little. I did this in https://github.com/aki65/aki65.github.io/releases/tag/v1.22.16 . Please check if that version looks better on your tablet.
