Incorrect BSP Version error

I have been trying to play on a zombie escape server for the past 3 days and every time i try to join it disconnects me while joining the server. I checked the command console and it says
"MAP"- has incorrect BSP version (1868833084 should be 30).
Host_Error: Disconnected

I have tried uninstalling and installing the game, deleting the csstrike downloads folder and trying to join the server again, downloading the map from the internet and nothing has worked for me. Does anyone have had that issue before in another server and know how to fix this? I have tried asking on their discord but no one has been able to help to solve this issue.

this is not a client issue but rather a fast download server problem sending corrupted information. delete cstrike_downloads folder and when you first connect to the server and the resources start downloading cancel the connection and reconnect in order to download the resources from the server itself instead. it will be very slow but they should download uncorrupted. contact the server owner.

Sounds like the map is corrupted. If you download it from somewhere else does it work?

Sounds like the map is corrupted.

I have used gamebanana to install maps and still doesn't work

I tried your suggestion but nothing, ill send the owner a message over on discord

Well it turns out I can't play on other servers neither, it downloads everything from the server and when it goes into precaching resources my game just crashes, I got no idea what is wrong with my game atp

I tried the command fs_lazy_precache 1 and it worked with other servers but the incorrect bsp error still persists

then it sounds like your storage device is dying. download some software to check its health.

Funnily I had this exact same issue, on a Zombie Escape server, same number in the error message too.

Look in the map files that are being downloaded, open with a text editor, and check if they're actually map files. In my case, they were actually html files saying access was blocked and "This site might compromise your device or contain high-risk content."

I assume downloads from that server are being blocked by my ISP. Don't know if there's a way to circumvent this (or if you even should).
